Privacy policy
Effective date: September 15, 2026
Corona Clipper, Inc. ("Corona," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of customers and visitors to coronatools.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains the personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, and the choices and rights available to you.
1. Personal Information We Collect
Information you provide. We collect information you provide when you purchase or attempt to purchase products, create or use an account, register a product, request warranty or customer service, submit a form, or sign up for marketing. This may include your name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number, company information, order details, account information, and the content of your communications.
Payment information. Payment information is processed by Authorize.net and other payment providers used in checkout. Corona’s ecommerce configuration is not intended to store full payment-card numbers in Corona-controlled systems.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, referral source, pages and products viewed, searches, cart and checkout activity, purchase events, and interactions with Site features. We use cookies, pixels, tags, server logs, and similar technologies for these purposes.
Information from service providers and partners. We may receive order, payment-status, shipping, fulfillment, fraud-prevention, analytics, advertising, and marketing information from Shopify and other providers that support the Site and our business.
2. How We Use Personal Information

- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site, products, merchandising, and customer experience.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, card testing, abuse, and security incidents.
- Measure Site use, ecommerce activity, advertising performance, and marketing effectiveness.
- Personalize content, recommendations, and advertising where permitted and consistent with your privacy choices.
- Send service, order, shipping, warranty, and account communications.
- Send marketing email only to recipients who have provided valid marketing consent and have not opted out.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and contractual obligations and protect legal rights.
3. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, and Service Providers
We use cookies and related technologies for Site operation, security, analytics, advertising measurement, personalization, and marketing. Some technologies are necessary for the Site to function; others are used as permitted by applicable law and your privacy choices.
| Provider / technology | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Shopify | Ecommerce hosting, storefront, cart, checkout, security, fraud tools, customer privacy controls, platform analytics, and Enhanced Services powered by Shopify Network Intelligence. |
| Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager | Site and ecommerce analytics and management of consent-aware measurement and advertising tags. Limited purchase-event data may also be sent server-side for measurement accuracy. |
| Meta Pixel / Conversions API | Advertising measurement, audience development, and campaign optimization for Facebook and Instagram. |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag | Advertising measurement and audience development for LinkedIn campaigns. |
| Klaviyo | Permission-based email marketing, signup forms, segmentation, customer lifecycle analytics, and message attribution. SMS marketing is not currently used. |
| Authorize.net | Payment processing and payment-fraud controls. |
| Shipping and fulfillment providers | Order shipment, delivery, returns, warranty support, and partner fulfillment where applicable. |
Google Analytics purchase recovery. Our controlled server-side recovery process is limited to transactions and product information such as order ID, value, currency, item information, and pseudonymous identifiers where available. It is not designed to transmit names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, or full payment-card numbers to Google Analytics.
4. Shopify Hosting and Network Intelligence
The Site is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes personal information when you browse or purchase from the Site to provide, secure, and improve Shopify services and to support our store.
Corona uses Shopify Network Intelligence, which powers Shopify Enhanced Services. For these services, Shopify may use personal information from your interactions and transactions with our Site together with information from your interactions with other Shopify merchants and Shopify services. Shopify uses this information for functions such as personalization, analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, and service improvement. Some of this processing may constitute “sharing” or targeted advertising under applicable U.S. privacy laws.
Information you submit to the Site may be shared with Shopify and with service providers or other third parties that help provide Shopify and Corona services. These parties may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
For more information, review Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also use Shopify’s privacy controls to manage certain Shopify data uses.
5. Email Marketing and Klaviyo
We use Klaviyo to manage email marketing, signup forms, segmentation, lifecycle communications, and related analytics. We send marketing emails only to people who affirmatively subscribe or otherwise provide valid marketing consent and who remain eligible to receive marketing under our suppression and preference controls. Providing an email address for an order or checkout does not, by itself, enroll you in marketing.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us. We may still send transactional or service communications needed to complete or support a purchase, such as order, shipping, warranty, or account messages. Corona does not currently use Klaviyo for SMS marketing.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information to service providers and partners that support ecommerce hosting, payment processing, shipping and fulfillment, customer service, analytics, advertising, email marketing, fraud prevention, information technology, security, legal, accounting, and other business functions. We disclose information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
We may disclose device identifiers, internet or electronic activity, approximate location, and related information to Shopify and advertising or analytics partners. Under U.S. state privacy laws, some of these disclosures may constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising even though Corona does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. You may exercise applicable opt-out rights as described below.
For partner-fulfilled or dropship orders, we disclose information needed to process, ship, and support the order, such as your name, shipping address, contact information, purchased items, and order details. We may also disclose information as required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, or with your direction or consent.
7. Your Privacy Choices
Your Privacy Choices. Use the Site’s “Your Privacy Choices” page to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where those rights apply.
Global Privacy Control. We honor recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request for sale or sharing where required by law. Shopify privacy controls and consent-aware tag settings are used to apply customer choices to supported technologies.
Marketing email. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link in a message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary service communications.
Browser controls. Most browsers allow you to remove or block cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may affect Site features, including cart and checkout.
8. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights to access or confirm personal information; obtain a portable copy; correct inaccurate information; delete information; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service and pricing when exercising a privacy right. California rights are described in Section 9 below.
To submit a privacy request, email marketingops@coronatools.com or call 1-800-847-7863. We may need to verify your identity using information reasonably related to your relationship with Corona. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification and proof of authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Where another state provides an appeal right, instructions for appealing a denied request will be included in the response.
9. California Privacy Rights and Notice at Collection
Corona Clipper, Inc. is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA). California residents have the right to know and access personal information, request deletion, request correction, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information when applicable, and exercise these rights without discrimination.
You may submit a request to know, access, delete, or correct personal information by emailing marketingops@coronatools.com or calling 1-800-847-7863. You may opt out of sale or sharing through the Site’s “Your Privacy Choices” page or by using a recognized GPC signal. Retention periods vary by information type and purpose. Google Analytics event-level retention is configured for 14 months; this does not control all aggregated reporting data. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to suppression-list, recordkeeping, and legal requirements.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted Site connections, access controls, fraud-monitoring processes, and payment processing through providers responsible for applicable payment-card security requirements.
