Corona Tools Manufacturing Plant Celebrates 20 Years of Operational Success
(Fortin, MX) Corona Tools, a leader in the manufacturing of professional and consumer tools for the lawn and garden, construction, and agriculture markets under the Corona® brand, celebrates 20 years of operation at its manufacturing facility in Mexico. Known locally as Manufacturera Corona Clipper, the facility opened its doors on April 1, 2005, under the leadership of plant manager Albeiro Salazar. Today, the facility is responsible for producing high-quality, forged gardening tools—such as pruners, shears, and loppers—which make Corona the most recognized and trusted name for landscape and agricultural professionals.
To commemorate its 20-year anniversary, Corona Tools hosted a celebratory dinner on August 22, 2025, for its 97 dedicated employees. In addition to reaching this milestone, the facility was also recognized for a full year without incident loss on July 27, 2025. “The most valuable asset of our company is the life and well-being of our employees,” said Salazar. “We are more than just colleagues, we are a family, and we help keep each other safe.”
“365 isn’t just a number; it’s a reflection of the responsibility, commitment, and care that each of us puts into our work every day,” Salazar continues. “Security doesn’t happen by chance. It is the result of discipline, communication, and teamwork.”
The celebration dinner was attended by key executives from the U.S., including Steve Linville, President for Hand Tools U.S./Canada, and Scott Helder, Vice President of Supply Chain Operations. “To all the MCC team members tonight, on behalf of myself and the entire Corona team around the world, thank you,” said Linville. “Whether you have been here since day 1 or just joined recently, your hard work and dedication are what makes success possible. I am truly grateful for your contributions and honored to celebrate with you tonight.”
The banquet-style dinner featured dancing, live music, a mariachi band, and endless laughter throughout the evening.
